Cuvée Alexandre Syrah is made from grapes of highest quality we have in our vineyard in Apalta, so all the process was carried out following the highest standards we do reach at Lapostolle. We hand harvested all the grapes in small cases of 14 kilos and sent them to the winery. We carefully selected the best fruit, 100% selection of cluster by hand in long sorting tables and berries optical selection by Vistalys, obtaining this way perfect results. Then fermentation occurred with wild yeast in wooden vats. During the process we manually punched down the cap to increase skin contact. Malolactic fermentation was made in French oak barrels. On the palate, the wine is concentrated, yet elegant, making it delectable with game, lamb and savory dishes.
