In his search for exceptional land and original grape varieties, Michel Laroche was attracted to South Africa. The area’s rich history in winemaking and its pristine vineyards inspired him to acquire L’Avenir Wine Estate, a magnificent Stellenbosch property, renowned for its Pinotage and Chenin Blanc. Following the example set by its Chablis counterpart, L’Avenir produces wines with the same characteristics: balanced, fruitful, refreshing acidity and just a touch of oak lingering in the background.
